The ABCs of Vitamins and Minerals, and the foods they are found in

Walk through the basics of vitamins and minerals and what they do in the body with Dr. Froman. She will cover what they are, how they work in the body, and where to find them in commonly eaten foods. Information will include tips and tricks such as getting the best benefit from the foods we eat. 

Dr. Anna Froman grew up cooking and baking, which helped lead to her belief that daily food habits are a large part of health. She pursued this idea to naturopathic medicine, and obtained a masters in nutrition while completing her doctorate in naturopathic medicine. She owns a naturopathic practice in Benton, Maine, and is one of the instructors of Healthy Cooking and Eating classes at MaineGeneral's Peter Alfond Prevention and Health Living Center.
