Dr. Paton was married last summer and her name has changed to Dr. Sarah Kotzur. Dr. Kotzur is currently accepting new patients. Her practice is located in Portland at the historic State Theater building on Congress at High Street. She is both primary care doctor and specialist consultant, depending on the needs of her patients. She believes that the most effective way to practice medicine is to form a trusting relationship between doctor and patient. Her initial 90 minute visit enables her to get to know her patients and to hear all their concerns. Follow up visits are never less than 30 minutes, which provides her patients with plenty of time to discuss treatment options and ask questions. Dr. Kotzur treats men, women and children of all ages. She uses nutrition, herbs, therapeutic supplements, homeopathy and counselling to treat everything from hypothyroid to high blood pressure. She offers annual physicals, women's medicine, speciality laboratory testing and integrative treatments. She is happy to work with healthcare providers you may already have.
