Our Mission
The primary objectives and purposes of the Maine Association of Naturopathic Doctors shall be to promote the philosophy, art, and practice of naturopathy; to support and strengthen the standards of naturopathic practice; and to promote professional and ethical conduct in the practice of naturopathic medicine in the state of Maine. Also:• Advocate for the highest standards of patient care and safety.
• Increase awareness of naturopathic medicine through public outreach.
• Advocate for fair and commensurate third party reimbursement for services
provided by naturopathic doctors.
• Enable naturopathic doctors to practice to the full extent of their training
through ongoing efforts to modernize the naturopathic scope of practice.
• To encourage scientific research in natural medicine
• To improve the public health by affirming ND’s as primary care providers
