Eligibility for Membership

There are five accredited Naturopathic medical schools in North America. Only ND’s who have graduated from the following schools and are licensed and board-certified can join the Maine Association of Naturopathic Doctors.

•   National College of Naturopathic Medicine ~ Portland, Oregon
•   Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine ~ Tempe, Arizona
•   University of Bridgeport ~ Bridgeport, Connecticut
•   Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine ~ Ontario, Canada

• "A Guide for New NDs in Maine":  As a member of MAND, you will be provided with invaluable information about the licensing process, helpful tips for establishing your practice, as well as mentorship opportunities with experienced Naturopathic doctors.
• Legislative representation: The most important benefit is the work that MAND does to protect your right to practice and strengthen licensure laws.  Legislative updates are available by email and at quarterly member meetings.
• ND Referral Service:  As a member you will be added to our list of licensed ND's on the MAND website, providing potential patients with your contact information.
